The Windgfällweiher pond is a real gem in the Upper Black Forest - a small but beautiful reservoir that delights visitors all year round with its idyllic setting. Whether you want to jump into the cool water in summer or do your laps on frozen ice in winter - there's always something going on here! Crystal-clear water, a relaxed atmosphere and pure nature - the perfect mix for a successful day of swimming! There are official bathing areas, but also hidden corners for those who prefer to switch off in peace. So, pack your swimming trunks and off you go!

Want to take a walk around the lake? No problem! The circular walk takes about an hour and offers marvellous views. If you fancy more exercise, you can take to the numerous hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding area. Mountain bikers will find great routes here that are great fun.

Stand-up paddling and boating

How about a little tour on the water? You can hire SUP boards and rowing boats on site. The Windgfällweiher pond is quiet and perfect for a relaxing round with a view of the surrounding forests.

How to get there

The Windgfällweiher is located between Titisee and Schluchsee and is easily accessible both by car and by S-Bahn (Feldberg-Bärental station). There are car parks near the lake.

Cosy inns with regional delicacies await you in the surrounding area - from Black Forest ham to homemade cheese spaetzle. A culinary detour is always worthwhile!
